Solo Contigo Winery
A conceptual boutique winery that celebrates love, art, and music in the heart of Los Chacayes.

History and Foundation

The project is the dream come true of Noel and Terry Neelands, a Canadian couple who visited Mendoza in 2008 and fell madly in love with the region. They acquired plots within the exclusive “The Vines of Mendoza” estate in the micro-region of Los Chacayes, Tunuyán. In 2016, they inaugurated their own winery, conceiving it not only as a place to make wine but as a home to share their passion.

Architectural Details

Also designed by the acclaimed Bórmida & Yanzón studio, the winery has the unique shape of an inverted pyramid clad in corten steel (which gives it a natural rusted tone) and exposed concrete. Its structure with avant-garde lines contrasts wonderfully with the rugged landscape. The interior was decorated directly by its owners, resembling the living room of a modern luxury home.

What to expect on a visit?

The tourism proposal is intimate and markedly aesthetic. The interior of the winery is filled with contemporary artwork and features a high-fidelity sound system, as music is a pillar of the experience. Tastings are held on comfortable armchairs or in its outdoor gallery, creating a cozy, romantic, and extremely relaxed atmosphere.

Their Wines

The winery takes advantage of the exceptional Los Chacayes terroir, known for its stony soils, to produce wines of great aromatic intensity and freshness. Their lines bear names that evoke stages of romance (“Primera Amante”, “Affaire”, “Colección”). They do excellent work with Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
